THE world’s cream-of-the-crop of dancers, singers, emcees and beat-boxers come together at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre on December 6-8, for the 2013 World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB) festival.
The WSB festival, a production of MAS Presents, is a celebration of Hip Hop and street dance culture.
Celebrity meet-and-greets, X-Factor and Australia’s Got Talent performances, international dance workshops, urban dance choreography competition, Urbanstar talent quest, break dance and krump battles, expo and exhibition stalls, live DJ performances, streetball activities and a showcase of all Hip Hop elements (rap, b-boy, graffiti and DJ’ing) will be some of the highlights of the three-day event.
WSB’s impressive line-up includes American superstar choreographer and YouTube sensation Brian Puspos from MOS Wanted (America’s Best Dance Crew), Masters of Locking legends, and movie stars Hilty and Bosch (Japan), 2010 world gold medallist Samantha Cahill of ReQuest Crew (New Zealand), two-time world champion Philippine Allstars choreographer Patrick ‘Little Pat’ Romero.
Then there’s three-time world gold medallist Lance Savali and Laurence Kaiwai from Royal Family (New Zealand), pop artist Johnny Ruffo’s choreographer Melanie Louise, Australia’s Got Talent Grand finalist Kookies N Kream, and 2013 world bronze medallist and So You think You Can Dance Malaysian champion Dennis Yin of Elecoldxhot Crew.
