GET READY for dazzling dunks, slick moves, cross-over dribbles, and no-look passes with the arrival of Hoop Mania, the first-ever lifestyle basketball expo and exhibition, on Saturday December 7 at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre.
The basketball initiative by hip hop impresario Marco Selorio of MAS Presents, Hoop Mania will be headlined by world-famous American street ball superstar Grayson Boucher, aka The Professor.
It will be a one-day outdoor sporting event showcasing an array of activities including basketball clinics with The Professor, an obstacle course skills challenge, free-throw shooting competitions, autograph signing with NBL and WNBL stars, live DJ music, celebrity performances, beat box showcase, and hip hop dancesport battles.
Street ball is back at the forefront as elite street teams representing the Philippines, China, Africa, Australia and the USA will battle it out for bragging rights to challenge The Professor’s All Star team in the 3-on-3 Hoop Mania championship match.
Supporting the event are Hoopdreamz, Sydney Kings, BasketballNSW, Womens National Basketball League, Molten, and World Supremacy Battlegrounds.
