AUSTRALIA’S biggest international street-dance competition heads south to Queensland in 2015.
The MAS organization brings the all-age World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB) to Brisbane for next year’s WSB championships at the versatile Edmund Rice Performing Arts Centre (ERPAC).
After 10 years of holding the event in Melbourne and Sydney, WSB will make its move to Brisbane, one of the fastest-growing capital cities in Australia.
More than 1,000 dancers and 150 dance crews from Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Guam, Thailand, Singapore and new franchises in South Africa, Ecuador, Mexico, UK, Canada and the USA are expected to take part, according to hip-hop impresario and WSB
founder Marco Selorio.
“We are excited about bringing WSB to Queensland, home to the ZBOYZ, Academy of Brothers, and so many amazing crews and dancers,’’ Selorio said.
‘’The dancesport community continues to flourish in this beautiful state, and with tourist spot Gold Coast not far from Brisbane City, our interstate and international delegates will surely embrace the weather and new scenery.”
