SYDNEY Jokers Social Golf Club member Bert Bugayong, playing off a handicap 9, shot a hole-in-one on the 16th at Rosnay Golf Club, Auburn, in July 2014. The 16th was a par 3 hole, and it was Bugayong’s first hole-in-one feat in 20 years of playing golf.

“I’m was excited and felt extremely happy,” he said.
Bugayong has played at the annual Fil-Am Invitational Golf in Baguio City, the Philippine Airlines Interclub Golf tournament in Visayas/Mindanao, and the Fil-Aussie Interstate Friendship golf cup in Metro Manila.
These are aside from regular golf tournaments in metropolitan Sydney organised by Filipino-Australian social golf clubs.
