AT THE weight-in before their world boxing title match in Toowoomba, Queensland on Saturday, June 27, 2015, the challenger from Indonesia, Hero Tito, was in the face of IBO world super-featherweight champion Jack Asis.

Asked to pose for a friendly photo with the champion, Tito marched straight into Asis’ face and declared for all to hear: “I’m here to win.”
The Filipino didn’t bother to respond.
But when asked by reporters later, Asis was circumspect: “I have no comment about my opponent. It will be a hard fight, and I will try my best.
“I’m excited to fight as the world champion in my hometown of Toowoomba.”
End of story. Let the fireworks begin.
