LIVERPOOL Olympic Football Club U12 soccer team went down fighting to Canley Heights RSL Football Club, 2-1, in a Southern Districts grand final at Moorebank Sports Club football field on Saturday, August 16, 2015.

The scores were locked, 1-1, at full-time, with Canley Heights scoring first with Maddox Asostasi-Barthou and right-forward Andre Novaceski notching Liverpool Olympic’s goal with assistance from Jerell Bohol (No 9).
Midway through the 10-minute extra time, Olympic’s goalkeeper Branco Vidakovic rushed toward Canl;y Heights’ attacking forward Maddox Asostasi-Barthoutoo early, leaving the goal open for Maddox to loft the ball over the ‘keeper and into the net. It was also Maddox who scored his team opening goal in the first half.

The champion team of Canley Heights RSL Club comprised: Madoox Asostasi-Barthou, Andre Barkho, Bryan Bui, Eric Bui, Eric Long, Bryan Lu, Patrick Newell, Anthony Nguyen, Jeremy Nguyen, Christian Panoviski, Christian Reid, Harry Tang, Alex Vogiatrzis.
