
FILIPINO boxing sensation, bantamweight Aston Palicte, fights a 10-round undercard against Australian Jason Moloney on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium.

The program features Australia’s world lightweight champion George ‘Ferocious’ Kambosos, in his first title defence, against America’s undefeated Devin ‘The Dream’ Hany in the main event.
Palicte and Moloney go for the WBC silver bantamweight belt and the WBO international bantamweight title.
The Filipino said he was in top condition and prepared to put on a good show for Filiipino Austrralians.
Palicte has challenged twice for world titles, unsuccessfully, and was one of the Philippines’ top amateur boxers, representing the country at the 2008 AIBA Youth world championships in Mexico and winning a bronze medal at the 2010 China Open boxing championships.
His record is 28 wins (23 by KO), 4 losses, and 1 draw.
Moloney record is 23 wins (19 by KO), and 2 losses.
Palicte. Who hails from Bago City, Negros Occidental, is trained by Nonoy Neri. He id further accompanied by manager Jason Soong and assistant trainer Ryan Songalia.
